What are the requirements for getting a new roof? I read the documents online, but nothing really states the exact colors that are approved by the association. What are the exact steps for getting our roof (if any) approved?

I spoke to the neighbor across the street on Springbrook and went through the HOA for approval, I beleive he selected a different color so that may be the reason. I would appreciate an official answer since we need to reroof the entire house and want to use a 30 year shingle of the same color.
